Project Manager – Field Support Services (FSSP) – Ghana

About the role

The Field Support Services Project (FSSP) Project Manager will lead the delivery of administrative, logistical and financial management services for the FSSP in Ghana. Reporting to the Director of International Services, the role supports Canada’s international assistance programme by ensuring effective project planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and manage project plans, define deliverables and identify key milestones in collaboration with DFATD.
• Develop project control and reporting procedures, monitor progress and adjust operational plans as needed.
• Maintain project risk and issue registers, conduct ongoing risk management and escalate critical issues to DFATD.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct stakeholder engagement activities with government, civil society, donors and private‑sector partners.
• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of project personnel, subcontractors and support providers.
• Lead preparation, coordination and timely submission of project documentation, reports and work plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects that involve administrative, logistical and financial components.
• Strong ability to develop and follow project control, reporting and risk‑management processes.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, NGOs, donors and private‑sector stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for documentation and stakeholder interaction.
