QC Executive

About the role

We are seeking a QC Executive to join our new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Shai Hills, Greater Accra. The role will focus on ensuring that raw materials, in‑process batches and finished pharmaceutical products meet our stringent quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of raw materials, intermediates and final products according to approved analytical methods.
• Document test results, investigate deviations, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Review and approve batch records in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP guidelines, and regulatory standards throughout the testing process.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to guarantee product quality across the manufacturing cycle.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing evidence of quality control activities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical quality control environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and analytical techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a highly regulated setting.
• Ability to interpret analytical data and communicate findings clearly.
