About the role

Ghana Christian International High School (GCIHS) is seeking qualified teachers for Junior High School (JHS), Senior High School (SHS) and O/A level classes. The school is a fully boarding, co‑educational, not‑for‑profit institution founded on Christian values.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons to assigned classes.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and boarding duties.
• Uphold the school’s Christian ethos and code of conduct.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualifications for JHS, SHS or O/A level subjects.
• Experience teaching adolescents in a formal school setting.
• Commitment to the Christian mission and boarding environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Subject‑specific knowledge and pedagogical expertise.
• Lesson planning and classroom management.
• Ability to assess and support student learning.
