Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will coordinate the implementation of ISO standards and other applicable quality frameworks to ensure that production meets client expectations and organizational goals. Working primarily on‑site in a factory environment, the role involves close collaboration with production teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support ISO procedures to improve quality and methods.
• Take corrective and preventive actions, documenting and communicating them across departments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reviews and report findings to the CEO.
• Maintain a register of key equipment and items within the department.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
• Work with production staff to perform root‑cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Diagnose technical product issues and communicate findings to product developers.
• Perform tests, apply statistical process control tools, and analyse data to monitor quality.
• Oversee product recalls when necessary and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Maintain continuous product/service quality through process controls, data analysis, and device measurement.

Required profile

• First degree in Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in quality management, preferably in the paper and print industry.
• Strong focus on process improvement and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, quick learner who works well in a team environment.
