Regional Head of Markets, SSA

About the role

The Regional Head of Markets, SSA will lead growth initiatives across Sub‑Saharan Africa, aligning resources, teams, and strategies with direct and indirect channels, government bodies, academic institutions, and key partners. You will drive revenue‑generating marketing campaigns, customer experience programs, and strategic partnerships to achieve regional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the region’s growth strategy, ensuring integration with channels, ATPs, and stakeholder groups.
• Manage partnerships, agreements, and deals with global executive council members, key accounts, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, communications, customer care, and summit activities within the target region.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration across business units, government, and academic partners.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust plans to meet revenue and market share targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and PMP certification preferred.
• 7‑10 years of management experience in a global, multi‑market environment.
• Proven track record in channel, B2B, and business‑plan development.
• Experience building programmatic success across geographically dispersed entities.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and business judgment.
