Relationship Officer

About the role

The Relationship Officer will work on‑site in Swedru, managing and expanding a portfolio of individual and SME clients for DAD Micro‑Credit Ltd. This full‑time position focuses on understanding client financial needs and recommending appropriate loan and investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct client meetings, follow up on leads and process loan applications.
• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the client lifecycle.
• Monitor client accounts and ensure timely communication.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to guarantee smooth transactions.
• Support sales targets through proactive outreach, networking and portfolio growth.

Required profile

• Strong business relationship management abilities.
• Solid finance knowledge, including loan products, risk assessment and basic credit analysis.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Sales orientation with a track record of meeting growth targets.
• Good organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• A diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Marketing or a related field; experience in microfinance or banking is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with digital tools used for customer and portfolio management.
