Remote C# Developer

About the role

Turing is building large‑language‑model (LLM) evaluation and training datasets focused on realistic software‑engineering problems. We need an experienced C# developer to help create verifiable software‑engineering tasks from public GitHub repositories and assess LLM performance on bug‑fixing scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and triage GitHub issues across trending open‑source libraries.
• Set up and configure code repositories, including Dockerization and environment preparation.
• Evaluate unit‑test coverage and overall code quality.
• Modify and run codebases locally to measure LLM performance.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to select challenging repositories and issues.
• Lead junior engineers on related automation projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software‑engineering experience.
• Tech‑lead level competence with complex codebases.
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week with a 4‑hour overlap in PST.

Required skills

• C# programming.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Docker and container‑based environment setup.
• Understanding of unit‑testing frameworks and test‑coverage analysis.
