Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer specialized in cybersecurity to help grow our customer base. You will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to generate revenue and support partners throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product demonstrations and education to prospective customers.
• Participate in discovery calls alongside the sales team.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of company security solutions.
• Enable and support partners, close deals, and progress opportunities.
• Engage technology partners to scope and qualify opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, pitches, and tender documents.
• Analyse customer business requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
• Represent the company at webinars, conferences, and other field events.

Required profile

• A degree in Information Technology/Computer Science with a postgraduate qualification in marketing, or a business/marketing degree with an IT add‑on.
• 4+ years of pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support experience as a solutions consultant, sales engineer, or implementation SME.
• 3+ years of experience with software security technologies for enterprise customers.
• 3+ years of successful engagement with C‑suite executives.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong knowledge of networking (OSI Layers L2‑L7, TCP, UDP).

• Cloud security concepts on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
