Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Manager to drive the growth of our smart meter solutions in the local water and gas market. The role combines market intelligence, business development and coordination of after‑sales support, while working remotely and travelling to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth market research on industry policies, demand, competitor activity and distribution channels, and deliver regular reports to guide headquarters’ strategy.
• Identify, visit and build relationships with target clients such as government water and gas authorities, engineering contractors and distributors.
• Support overseas market operations by promoting the brand locally, following up orders and coordinating after‑sales service.
• Gather and relay product feedback from the field to R&D and sales teams to aid product optimisation.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation, Marketing, International Trade, Finance or related fields.
• Local citizenship or long‑term residency, fluency in the local language and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in market expansion, sales or related sectors (water, gas, smart devices); experience in smart metering is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
• Professional attitude, team spirit and willingness to grow with the company.
• Own remote‑working equipment, personal vehicle or motorcycle and good knowledge of local traffic and market conditions.
