Sales Representative – Ghana

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Representative to drive business growth in Ghana. You will act as the main point of contact for customers in the mining and industrial sectors, delivering technical guidance and ensuring high levels of service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular client visits, follow up on needs, product usage and performance.
• Identify and engage prospective clients to build strong business relationships and uncover new opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance on product usage, storage and safe handling.
• Handle technical queries and resolve customer complaints related to reagents and processes.
• Collaborate with technical, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining industry.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals and tailored product solutions.
• Organise product trials, presentations and demonstrations for clients.
• Monitor customer stock levels, usage trends and support demand forecasting.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting performance and growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of site visits, customer feedback and product performance in the CRM.
• Share market intelligence, including competitor activity and pricing trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Chemistry, Mining or a related field.
• Proven sales experience, preferably within the mining or industrial sector.
• Strong technical understanding of chemical/reagent products (advantageous).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
