Sales Representative Savannah & Upper West Region

About the role

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market coverage across the Savannah and Upper West Region of Ghana. Based in Tumu, you will promote Callighana’s agricultural input portfolio, support agro‑dealers and farmers, and ensure product availability while managing customer credit and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets for the agricultural input portfolio.
• Identify, develop and manage relationships with agro‑dealers, key farmers and institutional customers.
• Execute route‑to‑market plans to guarantee consistent product availability across the region.
• Onboard new agro‑dealers and high‑potential customers to increase numeric and weighted distribution.
• Monitor regional demand patterns and align sales activities with seasonal calendars.
• Implement Callighana’s credit policy, monitor credit limits and outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices and escalate overdue accounts.
• Build long‑term customer relationships while addressing inquiries and complaints.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with at least 24 months of sales experience, preferably in agriculture.
• Demonstrated ability to manage credit, collections and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of agricultural inputs and market dynamics in the Savannah and Upper West Region.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
