Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team in the Tema region. The role focuses on driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence in the ceramics and building‑materials sector.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and promotional strategies to inform sales decisions.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, leading to successful deal closures.
• Negotiate sales agreements and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales techniques and promotional plans tailored to market dynamics.
• Ensure timely collection of sales payments.
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers and, when needed, negotiate with suppliers.
• Collect, organise and keep up‑to‑date customer profiles.
• Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics and insights for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in ceramics or building‑materials.
• Proven B2B sales experience with retailers and distributors.
• Strong understanding of product information and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative skills.
• Multilingual abilities (English, Twi, Ewe) are a plus.
