Science & Math Teacher – Full‑Time Positions

About the role

Pioneers International Academy is seeking qualified Science and Mathematics teachers to join its campuses in Accra and the Tema region. The successful candidates will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons and prepare students for both internal and external examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the school curriculum and academic standards.
• Develop students’ analytical thinking, scientific inquiry and problem‑solving abilities.
• Design, administer and grade assignments, quizzes, tests and examinations.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and offer additional academic support when needed.
• Maintain accurate academic records and ensure a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Communicate with parents regarding student performance as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong subject knowledge in the area of teaching.
• Experience preparing students for internal and external examinations (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Recognised teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Experience with the Cambridge curriculum is highly desirable.
