Security Coordinator

About the role

Saladin is seeking a full‑time Security Coordinator to join its Accra office. The role focuses on overseeing physical security measures, raising security awareness across the organisation, and ensuring the effective implementation of security protocols in a high‑risk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor physical security systems and guard forces on site.
• Develop, communicate and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate security awareness programmes and risk‑mitigation initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to align physical and digital security efforts.
• Conduct regular security audits and incident investigations.
• Prepare reports on security performance and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications in Security, Risk Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in security coordination, preferably in high‑risk or complex environments.
• Background in the Ghana Military or Ghana Navy is mandatory.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional coordination.
