About the role

The University seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated Senior Accounting Assistant to join its finance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the university’s accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive statements of accounts.
Compile and reconcile bank statements.
Check and verify current accounts for accuracy.
Handle relevant correspondence related to financial matters.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or an HND in Accountancy.
Alternatively, a professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA with at least two years of relevant experience.
Minimum four years of experience as an Accounting Assistant in a university or comparable institution.
Completion of national service.
