Senior Associate, Corporate Development

About the role

Fido is seeking a Senior Associate to join its corporate finance and strategy team. The role drives growth initiatives, transforms financial and market data into actionable insights, and supports major transactions and funding activities across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lender and investor pitch materials, detailed financial projections, and conduct debt capacity, interest coverage, and leverage analysis.
• Build financial models, perform valuation analyses, and develop scenario plans to support M&A initiatives.
• Lead end‑to‑end transaction workstreams, coordinating with internal teams, investment banks, consultants, and legal counsel.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target companies, identifying risks, opportunities, and synergies.
• Develop business cases for new market entry, assess regulatory and competitive landscapes, and model financial returns.
• Support the multi‑year strategic plan by synthesising market intelligence, internal performance data, and macro‑economic trends.
• Provide competitor analysis, benchmarking, and industry insights to inform strategy.
