Senior Illustrator & Graphic Artist (Multi-Style Digital Art)

About the role

Gramian Consultancy, a boutique consultancy for IT professional services and engineering talent solutions, is looking for an experienced Illustrator / Graphic Artist with strong artistic fundamentals. The role combines creative asset production with structured documentation and iterative quality review. It is a 12-week contractor assignment, paid per completed task (each task takes 30-40 minutes), and is remote, open to candidates in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey and Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality digital illustrations and visual assets from detailed creative briefs.
• Develop character-driven and graphic visuals across multiple artistic styles.
• Work in styles such as Cinematic & Film Noir, Steampunk, Surreal / Dreamlike / Psychedelic Cyberpunk & Sci-Fi, Art Deco & Art Nouveau, and Vintage / Retro Glitch & Vaporwave.
• Produce multiple asset variations while keeping strong stylistic consistency.
• Apply composition, colour, line work, lighting, texture and visual balance.
• Document artistic prompts, workflows and asset metadata clearly and adapt styles accurately across briefs.
• Incorporate review feedback and refine artwork efficiently.

Required profile

• Professional experience as a cartoonist, illustrator, visual artist, graphic designer or similar creative professional.
• Strong portfolio showing multi-style digital illustration and asset creation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Illustration, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Strong written English for workflow documentation and project communication.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to work across cartoon/comic, manga/anime, pop art, sticker art and sketching styles.
• Understanding of composition, colour theory, lighting, line work, textures and visual balance.
