Senior Key Account Manager – Appliances & TV

About the role

The Senior Key Account Manager for Appliances & TV will drive growth, revenue and market share for Jumia's home appliances and television portfolio. You will be the primary commercial link with top global brands, distributors and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and top brands within the Appliances & TV category, building strong commercial partnerships.
• Develop and implement category‑specific commercial strategies to increase sales volume, revenue and market share.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create and execute high‑impact promotional campaigns such as Tech Week and Black Friday.
• Analyze sales data, stock turn and market trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive pricing strategies.
• Monitor core category metrics including GMV, inventory health and vendor fulfillment.
• Lead negotiations to secure exclusive launches, best‑in‑market pricing and optimal margin contributions.
• Provide proactive business support to partners, resolving operational bottlenecks.
• Work closely with operations, logistics and content teams to ensure seamless inbound scheduling and high‑quality listings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of commercial or account management experience, preferably in e‑commerce, consumer electronics or home appliances.
• Strong understanding of the Appliances & TV category, technical specifications and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to monitor inventory health and sales targets.
• Strategic, results‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced entrepreneurial environment.
