About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a qualified Senior Lecturer to join its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The role involves contributing to teaching, research, and community service within a technology‑focused public university located in Tesano, Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the chosen department.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and research activities.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach initiatives.
• Participate in faculty development and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, ICT).
• Minimum four (4) years of experience as a Lecturer at a recognized university.
• At least six (6) publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Current appointment as Senior Lecturer at a comparable institution, or eligibility for promotion following university procedures.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
