Senior Manager – Digital Channels & Product Innovation

About the role

The Senior Manager will provide strategic leadership for MTN Ghana’s Digital Channels & Product Innovation department. You will drive the development, adoption and continuous optimisation of digital products, platforms and customer journeys, ensuring they are scalable, customer‑centric and commercially viable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Digital Channels & Product Innovation strategy in line with MTN’s ambition, digital transformation and growth objectives.
• Lead the ideation, development, commercialisation and lifecycle management of digital products and services, including AI‑driven solutions, APIs and emerging technologies.
• Oversee the performance and optimisation of digital channels such as mobile apps, e‑commerce platforms and chatbots, delivering seamless omnichannel experiences.
• Design and implement commercialisation strategies that accelerate digital adoption, revenue growth and customer value creation.
• Use customer insights, market intelligence and digital analytics to inform product decisions and monitor key performance indicators.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with technology providers, fintechs and MTN Group entities to expand the digital ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven strategic leadership experience in digital transformation within a telecom or comparable industry.
• Strong track record of launching and scaling digital products and services.
• Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into actionable digital roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across marketing, sales, MoMo, enterprise business and other units.
