Senior Manager – Infrastructure and Capital Projects

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead infrastructure and capital project engagements, providing high‑level leadership, business insight and industry thought leadership to Deloitte’s clients in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business plans, feasibility studies and advise clients on capital raising, investment optimisation and preservation.
• Originate new business through networking, meetings and proposal preparation.
• Perform project valuation and financial modelling for strategic decisions, M&A, project finance, private‑equity deals and bid evaluations.
• Provide transaction advisory for PPP projects and capital raises, working with IFIs/DFIs such as the World Bank, IFC and AfDB.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure transaction advisory, project finance, PPP and financial modelling in emerging markets.
• Master’s degree in finance, project management, business administration, economics or related field (preferred).
• Professional membership (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, CFA) is an advantage.
• Experience with International Finance Institutions and development finance in Sub‑Saharan Africa is a plus.
