Senior Manager, Strategy & Systems Transformation

About the role

The Senior Manager, Strategy & Systems Transformation will act as the visionary engine for the ACTIVATE project, ensuring that technical strategies are fully integrated into the initiative’s cross‑cutting priorities. Based in Accra, the role focuses on shaping systemic change within Ghana’s agriculture technical and vocational education and training (ATVET) system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of system‑wide transformation frameworks that align with ACTIVATE’s gender‑responsive and inclusive objectives.
• Evaluate macro‑ecosystem dynamics and institutionalize change mechanisms across public, private, and academic stakeholders.
• Forge and manage strategic alliances with government bodies, agribusinesses, NGOs, and donor agencies.
• Oversee the integration of technical strategies into project activities, ensuring coherence with overall project goals.
• Provide thought leadership on innovation in agricultural TVET, supporting the development of market‑relevant skills pathways.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a systems architect or senior strategist in development or education projects.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive and inclusive approaches in the agricultural sector.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with diverse multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive systemic change and manage complex partnerships.
