Senior Nursing Officer

About the role

The University seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated Senior Nursing Officer to lead nursing services at a higher level of responsibility. The successful candidate will apply sound judgment, initiative and precision while supporting the health and wellbeing of the university community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Nursing Officer with added senior‑level accountability.
• Critically assess clinical cases within the scope of approved regulations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with nursing and midwifery standards and university policies.
• Coordinate with other health professionals to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognised, accredited institution.
• State‑registered nurse (SRN) with registration by the Nurses and Midwifery Council.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience as a Nursing Officer in a university or comparable institution.
• Completion of National Service.
