About the role
The University seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated Senior Nursing Officer to lead nursing services at Koforidua Technical University. This senior position involves higher‑level responsibility for clinical oversight, case assessment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate sound judgement, initiative, resourcefulness and precision in all nursing activities.
- Critically assess patient and student cases within the scope of approved regulations.
- Perform all duties of a Nursing Officer while assuming additional leadership responsibilities.
- Oversee nursing staff to ensure high‑quality care and adherence to university policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognised, accredited institution.
- State‑registered nurse (SRN) with the Nurses and Midwifery Council.
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Minimum four years’ experience as a Nursing Officer in a university or comparable organisation.
- Successful completion of National Service.
