Senior Production Supervisor

About the role

We are a leading rubber manufacturing company in Ghana looking for a Senior Production Supervisor to lead our plant’s daily operations. The role combines hands‑on oversight of production lines with a focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the rubber manufacturing plant.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance, raw material usage and workflow efficiency.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations at all times.
• Lead, train and discipline production staff to improve performance.
• Identify production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain equipment to minimise downtime and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
• Collaborate with management to boost productivity and reduce waste.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in rubber manufacturing or a related industrial production environment.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Technical or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Production Management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of rubber processing, compounding, extrusion, molding and vulcanisation.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, quality control and workplace safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
