Senior Supervisor

About the role

Mantrac Ghana Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for heavy‑duty earthmoving and construction equipment in the Western Region of Ghana. The role focuses on ensuring equipment availability, driving continuous improvement, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to keep equipment serviced, repaved and returned to operation efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Provide leadership and direction to maintenance teams including preventive‑maintenance, field service, workshop, electrical and welding functions.
• Support troubleshooting and complex technical problem‑solving, coordinating with specialist resources as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Oversee quality assurance, inspections, repair verification and warranty claim administration for eligible component failures.
• Analyse maintenance performance, downtime trends and prepare reports to support management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in heavy‑duty earthmoving, mining and construction machinery maintenance.
• BSc/BTech/HND in Engineering or a related qualification.
• Ghana Mineral Commission Inspection Engineer certificate.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable).
