Service Technician

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer equipment within the sales area. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, supporting operational efficiency, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks according to standards.
• Promote a safe working environment and contribute to job safety analyses.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs using hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Provide accurate feedback for maintenance planning and equipment reliability.
• Achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and complete technical audits with detailed reports.
• Execute maintenance and repair activities within budget and time constraints.
• Comply with Sandvik’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in performing maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow approved work practices.
