Service Technician – Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on customer equipment within the sales area. The role ensures equipment reliability, supports operational efficiency, and upholds safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks in accordance with required standards.
• Promote a safe working environment by contributing to job safety analyses and following approved work practices.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Provide accurate feedback to support maintenance planning and equipment reliability.
• Achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and complete technical equipment audits.
• Prepare detailed technical reports.
• Execute maintenance and repair activities within allocated budgets and timeframes.
• Comply with Sandvik’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Ability to work safely and follow engineering and facility standards.
