Sign Language Interpreter – Training & Support

About the role

The Sign Language Interpreter will ensure effective communication for hearing‑impaired staff at AmaliTech and provide sign‑language training to all employees. This role combines interpretation, curriculum support, and collaborative work with trainers to create an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret sign language for all AmaliTech staff who are hearing impaired.
• Conduct in‑house workshops to teach sign language to employees.
• Assist trainers in creating and continuously optimizing course content, outlines, and curricula that are inclusion‑driven.
• Track training materials, suggest enhancements, and report needed modifications to the Head of Training Centre.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare teaching resources such as summaries, videos, and presentation slides.
• Provide support to the training centre and other departments as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education degree in Special Education, specializing in Sign Language Interpretation or a similar field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position, preferably within a multinational company.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom for virtual training sessions.
