Site Electrical & Automation Engineer

About the role

Nestlé Ghana Limited is looking for a Site Electrical & Automation Engineer to lead the factory’s electrical, automation and instrumentation teams, ensure safety compliance, and drive digital and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor the Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation team.
• Manage the design, installation, maintenance and upgrade of electrical and automation infrastructure.
• Own the factory electrical safety program (arc flash, LOTO, permits) and ensure compliance.
• Drive process control optimisation through loop‑tuning and instrumentation reliability.
• Participate in CAPEX projects, prepare user and technical specifications and ensure proper change management.
• Supervise maintenance and project work for Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation and MES systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical/automation roles, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑analysis skills in electrical and automation systems.
• Experience with loop tuning, calibration management and process control optimisation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage CAPEX projects.
