Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About the role

Chowdeck, an on‑demand delivery service in Africa, is looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator to drive its online presence, boost brand awareness and engage customers across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, shoot and edit short‑form mobile video and visual content for social channels.
• Write, review and edit copy for websites, social media pages and public communications.
• Research and apply SEO‑focused hashtags to maximise exposure.
• Monitor and analyse social media traffic, KPIs and audience engagement.
• Respond to public queries and issues with empathy and speed.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align content with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
• Represent Chowdeck at internal and external events.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience creating and writing digital content.
• Passionate about TikTok, Instagram and Twitter, spending at least 3 hours daily on social platforms.
• Strong written English skills and ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Creative, fast‑learning, goal‑driven and comfortable working under pressure.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering seamless experiences.
