Special Duty Driver

About the role
Gold Fields Ghana is looking for an experienced Special Duty Driver to transport employees and stakeholders safely and cost‑effectively, supporting production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete pre‑start checklists.
- Operate vehicles according to company transport requirements, delivering employees, luggage and other stakeholders to various destinations.
- Prepare and submit reports on accidents, breakdowns and repairs to the supervisor.
- Maintain records of driving hours, vehicle mileage and ensure insurance and road‑worthiness are up to date.
- Adhere to the Gold Fields Ghana Road Journey Management Procedure and Ghana Road Traffic Act.
Required profile
- Basic Education Certificate or Middle School Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).
- Valid Ghanaian driver’s licence “C”.
- 3‑4 years of driving experience in a multinational or mining environment.
- Good knowledge of Ghana’s geography, road traffic signs and regulations.
- Fluent English communication skills.
