Supply Chain Intern (NSP)

About the role

Our client, a leading global specialised chemical manufacturer, is seeking Supply Chain Interns (NSPs) to join its team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager – West Africa and working under the guidance of the Supply Chain Assistant, the intern will provide administrative and technical support to site clients and the internal team. The role supports product availability in the right quantity, quality and timing to ensure smooth business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse team in complying with QHSE policies, reporting safety or quality concerns.
• Assist with product arrangement, identification, segregation and stock integrity checks.
• Monitor product shelf life, raise requests for extensions and support relabeling.
• Participate in stock count exercises, reconcile variances with DHL and site records.
• Assist with receipt, dispatch and ERP transaction updates under supervision.
• Identify and report warehouse issues such as leakages, repackaging and chemical refilling needs.
• Prepare and dispatch products to sites based on approved call‑off requirements.
• Collect and compile fuel price and transporter price data for management review.
• Maintain cost and operational tracking records and document cost‑efficiency opportunities.
• Support management of local stores, PPE, safety items, equipment and spare parts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in a similar administrative/operations role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Residency in Accra.
