Tax Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join Orica’s Accra office, reporting to the Tax Manager. The role supports regional tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities, ensuring alignment with local tax laws and Orica standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance across the region, preparing and lodging tax returns and statutory reports.
• Ensure timely tax payments and accurate tax effect accounting.
• Support the implementation of regional tax strategy in collaboration with the global tax team.
• Identify tax risks, assist with audits, disputes and maintain relationships with revenue authorities.
• Provide tax advice on business activities, including transfer pricing and cross‑border transactions.

Required profile

• Degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, finance or accounting, preferably in a multinational or Big 4 environment.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
