Teaching Positions – Headteacher, Subject & Support Roles

About the role

The Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) is recruiting 25 teachers for a range of positions across basic schools in Kwahu West Municipality. Candidates will support the implementation of the new standards‑based curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Education, covering early childhood, primary, junior high, special education, and co‑curricular programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction in accordance with the new curriculum for assigned grades and subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with national standards.
• Support school leadership as Headteacher or School Manager where applicable.
• Provide specialised instruction for early childhood development, special education needs, physical education, library services, and co‑curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualifications and certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Ghanaian education system and curriculum standards.
• Experience teaching at the appropriate level (early childhood, primary, junior high, or special education).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
