About the role
The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) seeks senior experts to join its Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for the African Transformation Report (ATR5). Members will provide strategic guidance, technical review, and quality assurance throughout the report’s development.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and review chapter drafts.
- Challenge assumptions, strengthen evidence, and ensure methodological rigor.
- Undertake milestone reviews from annotated outline to final validation.
- Support validation and contribute to the report’s intellectual quality and credibility.
Required profile
- Recognized expertise in one or more areas such as economic transformation, industrial policy, macroeconomics, development finance, trade, climate economics, or governance.
- Strong record of high‑quality, policy‑relevant research and ability to provide independent, objective quality assurance.
- Senior standing with the capacity to challenge and strengthen work of senior authors.
