Technical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Technical Maintenance Technician ensures the reliability and performance of Indigo Textiles' production and printing equipment. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement to minimise downtime in a fast‑paced textile manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on DTG, DTF and other production machinery.
• Conduct daily inspections, log equipment status and maintain service records.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and software faults and execute timely repairs.
• Coordinate major repairs with external service providers and manage critical spare‑parts inventory.
• Provide technical assistance to machine operators, including setup, calibration and commissioning.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and cleanliness standards in the maintenance area.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably textile or printing.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and equipment documentation.
• Experience with preventive‑maintenance systems and reporting.
