Technical Marketing Officer – Medical Diagnostics

About the role

Althea Lifecare Limited is one of Ghana’s rapidly growing medical diagnostic centers, offering state‑of‑the‑art imaging and laboratory services. We are seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented Technical Marketing Officer to drive business growth through strong client relationships, healthcare partnerships, and market development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and corporate healthcare professionals to promote diagnostic services.
• Drive business development and increase sales for medical imaging, laboratory, and pathology services.
• Establish and manage tie‑ups with hospital laboratories and healthcare institutions for sample processing.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand the client base, and strengthen presence in the local healthcare market.
• Conduct field visits, client meetings, and regular follow‑ups with healthcare providers.
• Coordinate with internal laboratory and imaging teams to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Prepare market feedback, client reports, and business development updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in business development, client relationship management, medical diagnostics, pathology, or healthcare sales.
• Strong technical knowledge of medical diagnostic and pathology services.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork and travel within the assigned territory.
• Valid Ghanaian Driver’s License (Class B) and ability to drive confidently.
• Must be based in Kumasi with good knowledge of the city’s healthcare facilities.
