Trailer Mechanic

About the role

Sunda International is looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to keep our fleet of trailers operating safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing a range of trailer components.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on trailers.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on braking, suspension, axle, tire, and lighting systems.
• Replace damaged components and ensure all work complies with safety standards.
• Conduct safety checks and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency repair situations.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience maintaining trailers or heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capacity to work independently under pressure.
