About the role
The African Diaspora Resource Centre is looking for a passionate Twi Language Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to English‑speaking learners. This part‑time, hybrid role combines remote instruction with occasional on‑site sessions in Accra.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured Twi language lessons tailored to English‑speaking learners.
- Develop interactive teaching materials and incorporate multimedia tools.
- Provide individualized support based on each student’s proficiency level.
- Introduce Ghanaian culture and traditions through language instruction.
- Assess student progress and give constructive feedback.
Required profile
- Fluency in Twi and strong teaching/lesson‑planning skills.
- Background in education, literature or linguistics.
- Experience teaching Twi to a diverse audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Literature or a related field.
