Volunteer Project Manager

About the role

Interns Hub is seeking a Volunteer Project Manager to lead projects that support internships, mentorship programs, and partner initiatives. The role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission to empower students and young professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables for internship‑related initiatives.
• Coordinate resources, track progress, and ensure milestones and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams, educational partners, and volunteers to drive project success.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Optimize processes and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure all projects align with Interns Hub’s mission and strategic goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder projects in education, training, or talent development.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.

• Expediting skills to ensure timely delivery of tasks and materials.
• Inspection skills to monitor quality, compliance, and standards.
• Logistics Management abilities to coordinate resources and support smooth operations.
