Warehouse Senior Officer / Assistant Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Senior Officer / Assistant Manager leads inbound, outbound and storage operations across multiple warehouses. The role ensures all KPIs such as stock accuracy, on‑time deliveries, space optimisation and safety are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce strict adherence to warehouse SOPs and manage daily operational and administrative issues.
• Control stock variances, pilferage, damage and expiry while separating non‑saleable from saleable inventory.
• Optimise storage space and resource utilisation, oversee loading/unloading of trucks and containers, and maintain FEFO principles.
• Prepare and lead periodic stock audits, resolve audit queries and ensure timely closure of stock returns (RMA).
• Provide accurate MIS reports, track manual transactions and respond to stakeholder data requests.
• Supervise direct reports, uphold high housekeeping standards and ensure safety and security of goods.

Required profile

• Graduate or higher diploma with 5‑8 years of relevant warehousing experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and customer‑service orientation.
• Team player with good communication skills and practical computing knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives and manage operational issues.
