Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the receiving, storage and distribution functions for VOTILA Biotech's facilities in Accra and Tema. You will ensure that warehouse operations align with company policies, safety standards and efficiency targets while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, warehousing and distribution activities, enforcing operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain security protocols, safeguard stock and monitor safety, hygiene and health standards.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with the data system.
• Plan and optimise warehouse space, capacity and stock rotation.
• Schedule, assign and supervise warehouse staff, providing coaching, counselling and performance appraisal.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and statistics.
• Train loading personnel, monitor their performance and ensure compliance with loading procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfil management directives and objectives.
• Ensure accurate documentation for goods movement, prevent pilferage and handle slow‑moving or damaged items.
• Maintain records of all goods transactions and support finance with inventory issuance.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 24 months of warehouse experience, preferably in fertilizer, agro‑chemical or auto‑spare parts sectors.
• Fluent spoken and written English for official documentation.
• Clean employment background with reference letters and no theft record.
• Strong self‑discipline and adherence to outbound goods documentation rules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for stock data sorting and reporting.
