WASH Knowledge Management Intern – Accra

About the role

UNICEF Ghana is seeking a motivated intern to support the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Knowledge Management team. The role focuses on documenting, organizing and disseminating programme information, contributing to evidence‑based programming and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain the WASH SharePoint library, ensuring documents are well‑labelled, tagged and easily retrievable.
• Develop folder structures, SOPs and user guides for document management in consultation with the WASH team and IT focal points.
• Compile and upload monitoring data, infographics and dashboards to SharePoint for performance tracking.
• Assist in creating knowledge products such as field notes, case studies, human‑interest stories and infographics.
• Support the planning and delivery of knowledge‑sharing sessions and provide training on SharePoint usage.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a relevant university programme (e.g., public health, environmental studies, information management).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with WASH professionals and IT staff.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for document management.
• Basic data compilation and presentation skills.
