Workshop Planner

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a proactive Workshop Planner to manage all planning activities within its workshop and short‑term interventions at customer sites in Ghana. The role ensures that tools and equipment are available, maintained, certified and calibrated to support efficient execution of jobs both in‑house and on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate maintenance and rebuild plans to support operational continuity.
• Plan and prepare repair, rebuild and component exchange schedules for workshop and site‑based activities.
• Define job scope, sequencing, task durations and required resources for each work package.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and supply‑chain teams to align plans with production requirements.
• Forecast parts requirements for equipment and component rebuilds in coordination with back‑line support.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, certified and calibrated to required standards.
• Work closely with supervisors, technicians and stores to keep jobs on track and meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in workshop planning or similar maintenance coordination.
