Assurance National Service Personnel Internship

About the role

Join EY's Assurance team as a National Service Personnel intern and gain hands‑on experience across multiple industry sectors, including financial services, energy, telecommunications and more. You will support audit engagements, work closely with senior staff and develop a solid foundation in assurance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with clients to collect necessary data and understand transaction classes.
• Perform substantive testing on low‑risk accounts.
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
• Assist the audit team in preparing and reviewing audit evidence.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Expected CGPA of Second Class Upper or higher.
• Associate membership of ACCA, ICAG or another recognised accounting body is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
