Hotel Manager

About the role

The Hotel Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, ensuring smooth service delivery, profitability and high quality standards across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and control all operational processes, delegating tasks to department heads and team leaders.
• Act as substitute for the General Manager during their absence, handling representative duties.
• Drive sales optimisation, budget creation, cost control and promotional activities.
• Oversee safety, fire protection and emergency procedures in line with local regulations.
• Monitor room‑rate performance, quality of public and back‑of‑house areas, and technical condition of departments.
• Implement and follow up on projects and concepts in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Conduct performance reviews, career planning and disciplinary actions for department heads.
• Ensure continuous personal and professional development and manage Manager on Duty duties.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Significant international experience in luxury hotel operations.
• Proven background in multiple hotel departments, preferably with a strong rooms division experience.
• Analytical thinking and strong executive competence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in written and oral French (advantageous).
• Ability to motivate teams and lead cross‑functional projects.
