Senior Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

About the role

The Senior Sales Executive will drive new business and revenue growth for a leading indigenous customs brokerage, freight forwarding and end‑to‑end logistics provider. You will work closely with clients to understand their supply‑chain needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions across air, sea and domestic haulage.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics market to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting customer relationships by providing exceptional service and customized logistics solutions.
• Conduct market research to pinpoint potential clients and analyse the competitive landscape.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that showcase the company’s capabilities.
• Negotiate contract terms and coordinate with operations to ensure service fulfillment.
• Regularly meet key accounts to understand ongoing needs and ensure expectations are met.
• Collaborate with marketing to create targeted sales campaigns and promotional materials.
• Utilise a CRM system to manage the sales pipeline, document interactions and generate reports.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the freight forwarding industry (3‑5 years).
• Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and closing deals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
