About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks an experienced academic to join its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems as an Associate Professor. The role involves teaching, supervising students, conducting research, and contributing to community service and faculty development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computing, information systems, or related areas.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct high-quality research and publish in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities.
• Participate in faculty development initiatives and university committees.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum four years experience as a Senior Lecturer with at least ten publications in recognized journals, or prior appointment as Associate Professor at a comparable university.
• Three professional referees.
