Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs

About the role

RLG, a fast‑growing ICT company operating across West Africa and Asia, is seeking a senior legal professional to lead its Legal & Corporate Affairs function. The role combines legal advisory, contract management, corporate communications, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) leadership to support the company’s expansion and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to senior management on regulatory, reputational, legal and ethical matters.
• Draft, review and vet contracts, memoranda of understanding, guarantees, service level agreements and indemnities.
• Lead the CSR agenda, ensuring community‑relations initiatives align with corporate objectives.
• Develop and execute a focused media‑relations strategy to convey key corporate messages.
• Manage external stakeholder communications and represent the company in legal and corporate affairs matters.

Required profile

• Qualified legal practitioner with a minimum of 8 years of experience at the Bar (solicitor & advocate).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
• Hands‑on leader with high integrity, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience translating strategic vision into operational models.
